Bendigo Marketplace Connection Club
YMCA Youth Services Bendigo works in partnership with the region’s largest shopping centre, The Bendigo Marketplace, along with several community organisation to provide regular wellbeing activities. The shopping centre is a popular meeting place for young people outside school hours and is a perfect venue to connect to young people and provide them with information around other programs on offer.
Secondary School Programs
To ensure we are reaching young people on their own turf, our Youth Workers and volunteers regularly run workshops and lunchtime activities in local secondary schools to promote the Five Ways to Wellbeing and ensure students are aware of the programs YMCA Youth Services Bendigo has on offer.
Activities can include:
- Dodge ball or swing-ball competitions
- Music quizzes
- Meditation sessions
- Artwork collaborations
