YMCA ReBuild is a social enterprise that trains, employs and supports young people involved in the criminal justice system. At YMCA ReBuild, we want to reduce the rates of reoffending and reintegrate young people into the community.
We work with offenders while they are in custody to build their skills and confidence. We then help them transition into employment upon their release. Through training and support, YMCA ReBuild helps young people to transform their lives and become valuable members of society.
These young people then become part of our skilled crews, specialising in commercial services from landscaping to minor building works.
As a Social Traders certified social enterprise, YMCA ReBuild helps many businesses meet their social procurement commitments. YMCA ReBuild have also assisted a range of Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors such as Laing O'Rourke, ICON, Lendlease and John Holland.
YMCA ReBuild has a proven track record of transforming the lives of young people who have been involved in the criminal justice system. We reduce the rate of reoffending from 50% to 5%.
