What is Youth Camp?
Youth Camp is an active, engaging and fun environment for all young people which runs every school holidays. The camps provide fun and inclusive camping experiences for young people aged 8 – 16 in a nurturing and supportive environment. Youth Camp enables our participants to create community connections, develop life skills, increase their independence and experience positive mentorship all whilst getting out and into nature.
Activities
Activities vary dependant on location, but include:
- high adventure activities such as flying fox, giant swing, high ropes and raft building;
- outdoor adventure activities such as archery, canoeing, kitchen garden and marine discovery;
- quiet time activities such as arts and crafts, meditation, self-reflection and walking out in nature.

Cost
Youth camp costs $750.00 per participant and is inclusive of meals, accommodation and activities. YMCA Youth Services is not a registered NDIS provider, however, plan-managed or self-managed participants may still be eligible to attend using their NDIS funding. Please contact us to discuss.
